It is of note that encapsulated ascites were observed in the right abdomen. Enlarged encapsulated ascites with a drainage catheter and dilated intestinal tracts in coronal sections (b), in horizontal sections (c). The ascites appear to be adjacent to the dilated intestinal tracts. After drainage, the encapsulated ascites were reduced in size, but oral contrast leaking into the residual encapsulated ascites suggested intestinal perforation (d).
