Changes in the Hb level at indicated days in comparison to the Hb level right prior to the Fe-IV therapy (Pre). Patients received Fe-IV therapy alongside 10 consecutive HD sessions from day 1 to day 22. Patients were divided into 3 groups according to the MCV values obtained right prior to the Fe-IV therapy, a MCV ≤ 85 fL (n = 8), b 85 fL < MCV ≤ 90 fL (n = 17), and c MCV > 90 fL (n = 25)
