Model 2 was adjusted by serum BNP level to avoid confounding by volume overload (n = 52). Model 1 = dialysis change in serum K+, Ca2+ and Mg2+; Model 2 = Model 1 + postdialysis BNP level; Model 3 = Model 1 + dialysis change in serum HCO3
